Here is a skimmed version of the new computer that my family is planning on purchasing. The one you see their on the website is basicly what we are looking at getting. As you can see, you are able to customize it. That's the option I chose, and when I did so, I chose pretty much the best on the list of everything. My goal was to get a fairly up-to-date, decent computer, that would cost less than $1000. Well, as you can see, I did in fact sucessfully complete my task. The resulting price was around $950.
Just go take a look, I think it's a very nice computer for the price.

I made some small updates on the site. I got all the sections up, but some are not complete. I will finish them as soon as I get the chance.
I switched back over to SSI's so I can run CGI scripts inside HTML documents. I used the XbitHack feature in the .htaccess to parse all files on my server with a .html extension.

As I was working on my site, I heard a knock on the door, and it was the UPS man, carrying my sub-woofers! I am so happy, I can't wait until I get my car so I can put them in.
I was going to take a picture of them with my digital camera, but as I pulled it out, I noticed that I had left it on from the last time I used it, so the batteries were dead. Once I get some new ones, I'll take a picture of it and show you guys.

Guess what!? I finally got the money sent into Can-Host, so that means that they will be setting up my account within a few days! Once I get the new account set up, there will be a few changes to the site, here are a few of them:
- NO Pop-Up ads
- No Hypermart banner ad
- Converting over to PHP, instead of SSI
- All the site sections will be updated
- MORE TopSite members
- MORE WebRing members
- MORE posters
- And MUCH, MUCH more!
Now remember, once my account is being set up, you may have a hard time reaching the site for about 24-48 hours, that's just because of the DNS settings; so just be patient, hehe.

As you read below, you would have noticed that I was looking around for a new host. Well, I found one; and a damn good one at that. I decided to go through Can-Host.com because of the monthy price and the features that came along with it. It supplies me with all the scripting needs and server space/bandwidth that Misunderestimated.net needs.
I have to send them the bill, so once they receive it, they will activate my account, and once they activate my account, I am going to change the DNS settings, once more, to the proper domain. This process may take a day or two, so don't be alarmed if you have a hard time getting here.

If anyone out there knows of any desent pay hosts, PLEASE contact me and let me know of it. Hypermart is really starting to piss me off with all these pop-up ads, and besides, now I can afford a real pay-host.
Hypermart just can't fit the needs of Misunderestimated.net much longer, so if you know of anything, let me know!

"They are condoms, son."
The little boy then asks why they come in packs of 1, 3 and 12.
"The singles are for the high school kids that only get some on Saturdays, the 3 packs are for the college kids that get some Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the 12 packs are for the married men who get some January, February, March..."

The #1 thing I hate about Summer is mowing the lawn. I mean, it's not hard, but it gets so very boring and old. I had to mow the lawn today for the first time this year; no big deal. But by the end of the summer, I will be so glad it's over because of the oldness of it. But o'well.
I have had some requests from people to be members of Misunderestimated, so I might take that into consideration. Watch for two new members sometime very soon...possibly.

Today in school we had a Hypnotist come to our school and performed an assembly. I was very impressed. He hypnotized 24 people right in front of our eyes, and then he made them so some funny things, of course. I thought that it was pretty cool to see people get hypnotized and then brought back in a matter of 55 minutes. I found all of that pretty impressive.
Anyway, sorry about not updating for a couple of days; I have been VERY busy with track and school, but after this week, things should mellow down a bit (hopefully). Well, I have to get some work done. Later!
