This morning was a little rough. I go to put in my contacts, and right when I got the first one in, my eye feels like it's on fire. I didn't even have to take the contact out because it somehow fell out on it's own, which is a good thing because I was in so much pain I don't think I would have been able to touch my eye to get it out. After regaining sight in that eye I looked in the mirror and my right eye was the darkest, most bloodshot I've ever seen it. So after saying "fuck that shit," I dumped the solution and other contact in the sink, and the solution started fizzing like acid or some shit. I have absolutely no idea what the hell was in it, but it scared the hell out of me. So, I put in some eye drops to try and take care of the redness and now, over two hours later, my eye is just about back to normal (thankfully).
If that's not enough to get my week off to a good start, I think I'm coming down with a cold or something. Plus, I have to tear apart a computer tonight and try to determine whether or not the problem is the power supply, motherboard or the processor. Not looking forward to that.

Pretty average Sunday. Sitting around, doing nothing and just relaxing. I've always hated Sundays because you know you have to get up and work for the next five days. Kind of depressing, but what are you doing to do?

So last night I'm sitting at home around 9pm just relaxing and having a beer. A buddy of mine shows up and says he needs me to bowl because their other team-mate couldn't make it. Of course I agreed to go with, and after rushing to get ready, we finally made it there on time.
I believe my average for the night was 100. I haven't bowled in years (and I never was any good) but I still had a lot of fun. It's just really nice to get out of the house during the week to go hang out with friends. We got home a little after midnight and shortly after I went to bed. Surprisingly I'm not all that tired this morning. I think I'm getting used to staying up late and getting up early.

I love Thursdays.. especially when I get home from work. You know the next day is Friday, which means the weekend is rapidly approaching. And we all know how weekends are a good thing.
I love the feeling of getting home, unwinding and cracking open that first beer. It's something a guy looks forward to all day at work.. especially if it's been a long week. It's just too bad there's only one Thursday a week.

Just trying out Semagic from my Windows machine here at work. Seems like a very interesting little application. From what it looks like, it has a lot more features than LogJam... also perhaps a bit more 'clunky'.

Depending on how much free-time I have, I may or may not modify the other sections to use the same styles.

Darts season started last night. It was a very good time. Had a few beers, played *decent* (after a few games) and even met a new girl :).
I haven't asked her out on a date yet, but I'm working on it. Thing that sucks is that I don't know *how* I would take her out on a date since I am currently without a license.
Note2Self: Drive anyway.

Just wanted to say, I'm seriously losing faith in our state/federal governments. It's just one thing after the other. And quite frankly, I'm getting sick and tired of them dicking around. It's just a big money game. When it all comes down to it, they really don't care.
Read: Getting fucked out of an extra 4 months of not getting my license back raises my 'urge to kill' meter.
