Spring Weather

I love this time of year and the weather that comes along with it (most of the time). Unfortunately, some of my friends down in Springfield, IL experienced some pretty severe storms last night. As you can see from the thumbnails I've posted, there is quite a bit of damage done in certain parts of town. Apparently this was one of the biggest storms within the past 50 years. I am glad that everyone I know down there is safe and sound, although there are still a few without power.
Fortunately, most of the severe storms were just South of us up here in Wisconsin, so there was no loss of power or anything extravagant like that. But, at the end of the day, I am really happy to see it start to thunderstorm out more often. It's just a little reminder to me that Spring and Summer are getting closer. The Winter weather is getting a little old and I'm really excited to start being able to do outside activities. Bring on the warmth!
